The Intersection of Nature and Progress

Watching the sun setting over downtown Toronto, the photographer thought about the intersection of nature and progress. “The beauty was organic,” says the artist. Although the photo was taken amid buildings just southeast of the downtown core at Lakeshore and Leslie Streets, it offers a glimpse of the recreational trails and fauna. Reflecting on her photo, the artist hopes that others will notice beauty in nature on the edges of the city as well.
