Jay, an army veteran, remembers going out one warm afternoon to Front Street near Meridian Hall and taking photos. “This photo of the CN Tower represents beauty in the way the colours came out. I like the angle of the roof on the left-hand side. I played around with colours in the app—the yellow and blue and the branches of the trees. Beauty is something that makes you happy. You forget your problems. It’s something you can pass on to others to make them happy.”
