Sharmin loves living in Toronto even though it can be hard to survive, she says. After moving to study business, life got hard . “I was living with my relatives, paying for food and rent, and the first four months were good. But suddenly they stopped providing food, and I had to leave.” Sharmin spent two months living in a shelter before relocating to a dorm. “No matter how hard life gets, we can’t forget to love each other,” she says.
