The Illuminated River

This photo shows Toronto as a city within a park, says the photographer. “The way the light shone upon the river, it gave the effect of illumination. The picture was magical.” Mankind learns what beauty is from nature and applies it in other formats, including the development of cities, the photographer explains. “Both kinds of beauty, natural and man-made, are represented in this picture. Nature’s perfection includes the flaws and the wondrous glory.”
