Books on the Go

Jorge snapped this photo near his Parkdale neighbourhood. “There was an old man just sitting there, perched among his books, selling them. I thought it made for a nice composition. I wasn’t thinking of ‘Life in the City’ as much as ‘Life in My Neighbourhood.’” Having experienced homelessness, Jorge knows it is a complex issue. A little care for someone in need can go a long way, he says. “Just help them. It will be so worth it.”
