Freedom

Mel snapped her photo on the shore of Lake Ontario. “Twice in my life, I have had dreams of flying away over beautiful landscapes. The freedom I felt then: that’s what I see in this picture.” Looking ahead, she feels that documenting freedom will give her hope. “Although life is hard right now, looking back at these photos and knowing what I went through when I took them will help me stay motivated to get through hard times.”
