Honey Bee Flowers

In her photograph, Marcy can feel the value of connection. “It’s a connection to the flowers. The flowers are connected to the bees, humans eat the honey from the bees. Everybody deserves a connection.” Living through a pandemic has made it harder for people to connect, especially those experiencing homelessness. “COVID-19 is isolating, but it can also make you want to connect with others. It inspires me to restore human decency and gives me courage to pursue my graduate studies.”
